Why Goat’s milk?

Goats milk contains lactic acid, a high-fat content, and a neutral ph – which makes it perfect for your skin. This bar also incorporates moisturizing Rice Bran Oil, Shea, Cocoa Butter, Olive oil, and Nettle

Why Nettle? Because Mother Earth knows what you need.

Nettle, which prefers damp soil, grows prolifically in the Pacific Northwest and many other places throughout the US. It has so many uses it’s hard to list them all. It has been used historically as a fiber component in baskets and fabric by Native people and taken internally for a long list of ailments. Topically it is used as an anti-inflammatory and contains soothing serotonin. Naturally occurring chemicals in nettle are said to relieve pain. It contains vitamins A and C and beta carotene. Some of the minerals in Nettle leaves are calcium magnesium and Iron. Everyone knows that calcium is good for your bones, but it is also good for your skin!  Calcium deficiency in your skin can lead to dryness and wrinkles. It protects your skin’s collagen and elastin, giving you naturally younger, more supple looking skin.

Magnesium is found in every organ in your body,  and your skin needs it too. Topically magnesium is beneficial for stress-related skin conditions like acne and rosacea. It also helps break down fats and oils that can clog pores. Magnesium is said to aid sleep and reduce stress.  Thanks Mom.
